Higher School Certificate
In the 2023 HSC, students achieved 171 Band 5 and Band 6 results (2022 – 204, 2021 – 240, 2020 – 190, 2019 – 164, 2018 – 173, 2017 – 173). In the 2023 HSC, 29.6% of all bands awarded were Band 5 or Band 6 (2022 – 34.3%, 2021 – 40.3%, 2020 – 34%, 2019 – 30.7%, 2018 – 30%, 2017 – 31%).
In addition to 257 single course students (Government schools: 117, Non-Government schools: 145), there were 38 students in special placement settings and 79 Sydney Distance Education High School students completing all or part of the HSC.
There were 43 distinguished achiever results in the highest band (Band 6 or Band E4), including home and single course students.
A significant number of our 2023 HSC students achieved Australian Tertiary Admission Ranks (ATARs) which have resulted in successful university admissions including students achieving ATARS in the 90s.
