What students learn
Students learn a wide range of courses in the NSW curriculum. They build skills, think creatively and prepare for life beyond school.
The full range of courses we offer can be found in our enrolment application documents on the following pages:
The courses offered for Years 9 to 12 can be found on the Course selection page.
At our school, we give the right support to help gifted learners to grow and do their best.
We notice these students early. They may learn quickly or show strong skills in creativity, leadership, problem solving or sport. We help them stay challenged with lessons and activities that match their strengths.

Learning by distance education
Our school is committed to equity and access. We support all learning styles and needs. Our teachers use proven teaching strategies. They take part in ongoing professional development to stay up to date with best teaching practice.
We have implemented a variety of innovative solutions to overcome the challenges of learning remotely. Our learning approach includes:
- elearning: self-paced learning through our school's Online learning elearning platforms (Moodle and Canvas)
- group web lessons: timetabled online web lessons offer an opportunity for students to receive explicit instructions, ask questions, get instant feedback and engage with other students
- study days: organised by individual course teachers to provide additional opportunities for face to face learning for students and are held at the school
- individual lessons: teachers can provide individual support for student through web lessons, phone calls, emails or field service visits
- learning hubs: our Learning hubs are located across the greater Sydney region where students can drop-in to get help with schoolwork and access wellbeing, transition, learning support, and careers services.
Helping students progress
Learning is successful when parents, supervisors, students and teachers work together as a team. It is important that communication is regular and ongoing. That way they are able to provide our students with appropriate level of work and the best opportunities for them to succeed.
We support every student’s academic progress by:
- helping students get started with our Student induction program
- checking their progress and giving clear and timely feedback
- setting learning goals with students
- giving extra help with personalised plans and support from specialist staff
- reporting on each student’s learning progress so parents, carers and supervisors know how their child is progressing
- providing targeted literacy and numeracy support in small groups
- making wellbeing part of everyday learning.
