Sydney Distance Education High School students are able to access the Department of Education Student Volunteering Program. The Volunteering Program allows students to demonstrate and experience through participation many of the skills that are sought after by employers, including leadership, communication, collaboration, problem solving, public speaking and resource development. The Volunteering Coordinator tailors the volunteering activity to students depending on their areas of interest and supports them in finding and sourcing the appropriate activity.
