COVID Safety
In accordance with Departmental policy in keeping our school community safe during the COVID-19 pandemic, the following processes will apply at SDEHS
- Non-essential adults are not permitted on school grounds or at school events. We encourage supervisors to drop off and pick up their student for Learning Hubs, study days and on-site school lessons wherever possible. If it is absolutely necessary for a supervisor to remain with their student to support the student’s mental health or medical condition, it is vital that physical distancing protocols are adhered to.
- All visitors to the school including supervisors must sign a Visitor Acknowledgement Form when entering the school.
- Students, staff and visitors to SDEHS must remain vigilant in applying infection control and personal hygiene practices while at school. This includes regular washing of hands, exclusion of any staff and students who are unwell, avoiding the sharing of food and personal items and cleaning of any shared items such as musical instruments, learning and sporting equipment between uses.
Learning Hubs
All learning hubs are operational for home-enrolled students.
- Miranda and Woy Woy (Mondays)
- Ingleburn and Tuggerah (Tuesdays)
- Glenbrook (Thursdays)
- Woolloomooloo (Wednesday, Thursdays and Fridays)
Please do NOT come to school if you are feeling unwell.
In accordance with current NSW Health advice, anyone showing symptoms of COVID-19 should get tested.
