Roll call

The purpose of Roll Call at Sydney Distance Education High School is to build a strong, supportive relationship between student, supervisor and school in order to enhance student participation in learning.

Roll Call is only for students enrolled directly with the school, that is ‘Home’ students. The Roll Call teacher has a pastoral care role in introducing students to the school, motivating students to work on their whole learning program, assisting students to draw up, and follow, a weekly study timetable, and encouraging students to attend study days, excursions and presentation days.
